FlynxStore works with imported products and complies with all applicable Brazilian legal standards and regulations. Below, we explain possible customs taxes, deadlines, and potential consumer responsibilities.
📜 Exemption for orders up to $50 USD
According to Decree-Law No. 1,804/80 , every Brazilian citizen has the right to import products worth up to US$50 (fifty US dollars) without paying customs fees, as long as the shipment is from one individual to another.
Most of the products offered by FlynxStore fall below this value, which significantly reduces the chances of any taxation.
⚠️ Possible exceptions and state ICMS
In some cases, the "Tax Problems" status may be related to ICMS Protocol 021/2011 , which requires the collection of ICMS in the destination federative unit (state).
In these cases, the package may be retained by SEFAZ (State Treasury) and will only be released after state bureaucratic processes have been completed.
